I was off to the horn race in Jackson going threw Snake river canyon when I saw this bear on the road. This is the first time that i have ever seen a griz and got excited and wanted to take more pics but forgot how to use my phone. When I came to my sences I steped out of the car 'dumb move when there is a hungry grizzly bear' I sqweaked at the bear like you would a dog or fox. The bear stood up on its hind legs and took a few steps toward me I broke the rule of never running from a bear and ran back to the car.

cool! scary! beautiful! I'm glad you got a pic (and didn't get mauled). Rather I should say, I'm glad you didn't get mauled (and got a pic).
